Roger’s mother, Mrs. Edward Twitchell 76 VT is also here. This is a complicated family so bear with me. Anne L. Twitchell is Anne Lockwood Lackey, the ex-wife of Augustus Lowell Putnam. Anne and Augustus were married in 1924 somewhere in Massachusetts. They appear to have had four children, Anne, Augustus L. Jr., Oliver, and Lawrence. They were divorced between 1935 and 1938. In the meantime, the above Roger Twitchell married Lucy Balch in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts on May 14, 1921. They show up in 1930 in Milton, Massachusetts with four children. here on April 25, 1941. They are both buried here in the Indian Cemetery.

chemistry degree for college here in 1939. Rand found his marriage license dated
November 17, 1942 to Dorothy Linder in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It has his
parents last names as Putnam then over written as Poglitsch.
I guess that was the original name and was changed to Putnam as that was easier
to pronounce and very New Englandy.

She was previously married to Earl Warren Brown. Ben and Edna were here in
1930. Ben was in Lyme, Connecticut in 1920. He is Benjamin Henry Putnam. Rand thinks he could be a son
of Henry Lincoln Putnam and Grace Harriet Griffith from Charlestown, Sullivan
County New Hampshire. That Benjamin seems to have been born in 1888 or 1889 and
this guy has a birthday of April 27, 1884, which makes it confusing. Whoever
his folks are is uncertain in my mind. Good
luck here.
