ILLINOIS
Census Report
============
There
are a lot of birth and death dates on www.tributes.com that used to be called www.obits.com
sorted by death years starting mostly in the 1960s and 1970s. When you get into
the 1990s and 2000s most were born after the 1930 census or out of state and I
have no idea who they are. www.findfagrave.com has a lot of dates
taken from tombstones and sometimes people have added obituaries or family
notes. Big help. I have put what I can find mostly here in 1930, especially
stuff for young kids in the families.

County New Mexico in 1910 and here now. Travel a lot it seems. His full name is
Harrison George Putnam and his SS death card says he died in Chicago in October
1976. Rand Putnam figured his folks were Henry and Martha his first wife
Putnam. Henry and wife 2 Henrietta Cowden were in Wichita Falls, Texas in 1920

so his name makes sense.

the right age in IL but several in MN, and only one with a middle initial ‘D’
is listed next.
He is
24 MN MN MN. His wife Faith
R. is 20 IL. He is a superintendent of a concrete building company. This is the

came to this Country in 1928. Herman is in Van Buren County Michigan in 1940
and has his mother Geraldine with him. Probably same gang as the probably
didn’t speak very good English. Look above to the Harry Putman also born in

census in Canajoharie County and found This Listing: “WILLIAM PUTMAN
Canajoharie, Montgomery County. He is 53 NY, Catherine 43 NY and Albert
7 NY. He may be the guy here single in 1870, but the age is off. Obviously just
married in the past decade.” So age is perfect for Kate who is 64 NY in 1900.
The writing was bad in the 1880 and I thought it said Albert, but it’s Oliver
and he was 7 NY in 1880 and 27 NY in 1900 so that’s his family and obviously
