LOUISA H. PUTNAM Boston, Suffolk County
She
is 35 NY NY NY and is living
with Harry 9 NY NY NY. They are in a boarding house.
She
is 66 MA. Clara Putnam 48 MA and Anna Putnam 22 MA are living with her. They
all live with Harriet E. Brown 31 MA and her husband Simeon Brown 42 MA. I
never find these girls together, but are sisters. Lucy was in Brighton in 1860
and 1870. Clara was with her in 1870, and they were living with Mary Smith,
another sister, both times. In 1850 Clara was attending school in Andover and
also at home with her mom. Never find any trace of a husband or family unit.
But she has been living near Benjamin Putnam (2378), a son of Benjamin Putnam
(1058) and Dorothy Park of Waltham, and Medford before that. They have been
near each other in Brighton in 1860 and 1870 and they are all in Boston now, or
probably still in Brighton which is simply a part of Boston now, but had been
in Middlesex County up till the 1870s. There was one other son, Thomas (2377)
who married Harriet Blood. In 1850 Lucy was living with Dorothy Park widow of
Benjamin in Waltham at that time, and the above Clara was there too. Benjamin
and Thomas were the only two sons. But they had Clarissa (2376), Harriet (2375)
both shown here. Mary Ann (2379), whom they were with in 1870. The only one
missing in the family is Sarah (2380) who probably is married around here
someplace. It all fits. Not really critical as none had kids, even Benjamin,
but kinda fun to try and piece a family together.
She
is 55 MA MA MA, single and
a school teacher and has a couple of other teachers with her. In 1870, there
was a Louise Putnam age 50 here who was a single teacher. May be her.
