all over the place every year. Joseph is a son of Aaron Cornelius Putnam and
Catherine Cobb from Clarendon, Michigan. New England family out of New

Delmar’s death record states his folks were William Walker Putnam and Celia Webber. But they were adopting parents. His birth parents were Otheniel Faxon and Alida Tripp. That’s why even though he was born in 1874, he wasn’t listed with William Putnam’s family in 1880. William died in 1891 and Celia and the ‘regular’ kids were in South Dakota in 1900 and Delmar was here in Bedford, Calhoun County in 1900 and then Battle Creek through 1940. IA and her new husband Lewis Duffin 35 IA. Rachel was married to Thomas Bethel

she’s up here now, and I don’t find him in Iowa now but he will die there in

family.
She is 76 MI and widowed. She is a 2nd Cousin of Ervin and Bertha Little. Martha C. Barrington is the widow now of Alonzo A. Putnam. They were in Owasso, Shiawassee County in 1900 and 1920 and in Lansing, Ingham County in 1910. Alonzo died in Lansing on 6 October 1928 and Martha seems to have moved back here with some kinfolk. He is 40 WI NY WI and widowed. He is an automobile mechanic. I can’t find anyone who fits either here or in Wisconsin. But …. Rand Putnam figures he is Webster Putnam the son of Webster Putman as shown in Racine, Wisconsin in 1900 at the age of 10 being born in September 1889. Rand says, “Bare with me here. I think that Webster changed his name to William, perhaps after his older brother died. In the WWII draft, his name is now William Clinton Putnam born 27 Sep 1889 in Racine, WI.” That fills his middle initial and name just perfectly, so I’ll go along with that.
